Sub-processors

Audova uses a small number of third-party services to run the product. Where any of them handle personal data on your behalf, they act as our sub-processors. This page lists them so you can see exactly who is involved before you trust us with your customers' details.

Last updated 4 October 2026. We will update this page before adding a new sub-processor.

Service What it does for us Data it may handle Where
Amazon Web Services Sends your email campaigns, stores uploaded images and encrypted database backups. Recipient email addresses, message content, delivery and engagement events, and everything in a backup. UK / EU (London, eu-west-2)
Stripe Takes payment for your Audova subscription. Your billing contact and card details. Not your customers' data — card details never reach our servers. EU / US
Anthropic Powers the AI writing and campaign-building features, only when you use them. The text of the prompt and the campaign you are working on, plus summary figures. Your contact list is not sent. US
Flare (Spatie) Tells us when the application throws an error, so we can fix it. Technical diagnostics. Contact details, names, dates of birth and IP addresses are removed before an error report is sent. EU (Belgium)
Better Stack Watches that Audova is up and that our scheduled jobs are running. No personal data — availability signals only. EU
DigitalOcean (via Laravel Forge) Hosts the servers and databases Audova runs on. Everything stored in your account, including your contacts. UK (London)
Pexels Supplies the stock photography you can search inside the email builder. Your search terms. No customer data. US

Your customers' data stays in the UK

Your contacts, campaigns and consent records are stored in London and sent from London. The services above that sit outside the UK handle either your own account details (Stripe), technical diagnostics with personal data removed (Flare), or content you actively choose to send them (Anthropic, Pexels).
